Experience
I am a certified teacher from Canada with over 10 years of experience teaching various age levels and numerous different subjects. I have also been a tutor numerous times during my career, also with a variety of pupils and subjects. I have tutored elementary, high school and University students. Furthermore, I have experience with tutoring non-native speakers of English. During my professional career as a teacher I have taught in elementary, junior high, and high schools in Canada. Hitherto my studies in Belgium I had been employed at a University in the middle east instructing English to medical, engineering, computer sciences, dental, and pharmacy students. I am looking to be a tutor to keep my teaching skills sharp as I am currently enrolled in a masters program in Belgium. As a person who has a desire for knowledge, I have taken numerous educational classes in my own time to further myself as a teacher. Also, these courses keep me from becoming a one dimensional, one-subject-only instructor. These include the CELTA (ESL), History of Ancient Greece, Social Learning, various psychology courses and I am currently enrolled in a masters program.
